4 Kids occasionally has openings for qualified people who enjoy working with children. Those we hire are energetic, intelligent, caring, resourceful, creative, flexible, and committed to early learning.
4 Kids professionals receive full-time jobs, competitive salaries, and excellent benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, plus paid vacation. The work environment is collaborative, supportive, and professional, and staff development is a priority: we provide opportunities for continuing education, and most of our openings are filled by promotions from within. 4 Kids is an equal opportunity employer.
Positions for which we sometimes have openings:
Teachers (must be a college graduate with at least a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field) |
Assistant teachers (must have either an associate's degree or a child development certificate) |
Aides (must have experience with and understanding of young children) |
In addition to full-time staff, we occasionally have openings for interns who are enrolled in a college program and studying child development, social work, or elementary education.
For the safety of the children, anyone who works with children in Pennsylvania must obtain Act 33 and 34 clearances—a State Police check on criminal records and child abuse history. The SP-164 application form is available from State Police offices and at 4 Kids centers, or can be downloaded online here. The clearance process takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
If you're interested in working at 4 Kids, send us your resume, and we'll be glad to let you know if we have any openings.
